BOULDER BASED ARTIST

Hi! I'm Dorka, a Hungarian-American Boulder resident, mother of two, who's really into the great outdoors. I started out as an architect, then ventured into the world of architectural visualizations for nearly a decade, but having kids changed my life, and from my ever changing daily routine a persistent love for painting emerged.

My painting journey started on an iPad, as my kids were so small, paint would dry on the brush before I managed a single stroke. As my kids grew, so did my range of manageable mediums and now I do gouache, acrylic and oil. Gouache to sketch on roadtrips, and oils to fine-tune colors of my beloved rock features.
